Copyright and DMCA: InfectedNation

Last updated: October 13, 2026

InfectedNation responds to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

1. Our Policy

InfectedNation respects the rights of creators and expects members to do the same. This policy covers everything members can post: songs, beats, verses, videos, lyrics, cover art, profile pictures and banners, boombox tracks, forum posts, chat media, news comments, collab lyrics and audio, Studio projects, ads and store listings.

2. Only Upload What You Own

Upload only material you created or have written permission to use. That includes samples, loops, drum kits, vocals, instrumentals, lyrics and artwork. Remixes, covers and uses of another artist's recording need permission from the rights holders. Buying a beat or verse gives you only the rights the seller listed (lease or full ownership).

3. Beats, Verses and Store Sales

Sellers promise they own or control every sound in a beat or verse they list, and that the stated rights are true. A lease does not transfer ownership. A full-ownership sale ends the seller's right to sell that item again unless it is marked as multiple sales. Listings that infringe are removed and the seller's payouts can be withheld.

4. AI-Generated Material

Beats, vocals and lyrics made with our AI tools must be marked as AI-made. AI results may resemble existing works; you are responsible for checking them before release. AI-made beats cannot be sold in the Beats Store. Do not use AI to imitate a real artist's voice or work without permission.

5. Collabs and Shared Work

Each collab member owns the lyrics they write in their own part and the audio they add. Do not add material to a collab that you do not have the rights to. Agree on credit, splits and release before publishing shared work. Collab audio can be opened by anyone with the link, so do not add anything you cannot share.

6. Battles, Tournaments and Rankings

Entries you submit are shown to judges and viewers. You must own or have the rights to the audio and lyrics you enter. Entries that infringe are disqualified and their results can be reversed.

7. Our Content

The InfectedNation name, logo, design, code, the Studio, Beat Lab, AI tools and the daily beats we release are ours or our licensors' and may not be copied, resold or reused outside the Service without permission.

8. Filing a Takedown Notice

To report infringement send a DMCA notice to grimvirusoffical@gmail.com with: (1) the physical or electronic signature of the rights owner or agent; (2) a description of the copyrighted work; (3) the link, share ID (#@[ID]) or location of the infringing material on the Service; (4) your name, address, phone and email; (5) a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act.

9. What Happens Next

We may remove or disable the material, tell the member who posted it, and keep a record. Staff may also act on their own when they see clear infringement.

10. Counter-Notice

If you believe material was removed by mistake, send a counter-notice with your contact details, a description of the removed material and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of your local courts. We pass your counter-notice to the complainant and may restore the material if they do not file a court action within 10 business days.

11. Repeat Infringers

Accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright are terminated. Strikes for infringement count toward the bans described in the Terms of Service, and appeals go through the official Discord.

12. False Claims

Knowingly sending a false notice or counter-notice can make you liable for damages and may lead to loss of your account.

13. Updates and Acceptance

This Copyright policy is part of the Terms of Service and User Agreement. When any of them changes, every member must accept the update the next time they sign in.
