Terms of Service: InfectedNation / Infected Voices

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of InfectedNation, including the Infected Voices vocal lab and all related apps, websites and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms, the User Agreement and the Copyright policy.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms for you. You must give accurate identity details (first name, middle initial, last name and date of birth).
2. Your Account
You are responsible for your password, your second factor (authenticator app) and everything done under your account. Usernames are 4 to 20 characters, letters and numbers with at least three letters, and may not impersonate a person or brand. If you save more than one account on a device to switch between them, each account stays separate and each one stays bound by these Terms.
3. What the Service Includes
The Service covers the Studio and Vocal Lab, Beat Lab and the AI beat maker, the Lyric Writer, Vocal Coach and AI mixing, mastering, tuning and alignment tools, music, beat, verse, video and lyric uploads, reviews, comments, likes and rankings, the Infected feature, tournaments, rap and crew battles, crews, friends, direct messages, parties, public chat rooms, forums, collabs, achievements, inventory, news, the Beats Store, Verse Shop and Slime Store, Slime Tokens, ads and any apps we release.
4. License to Use
We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for lawful creative purposes. You may not reverse-engineer, scrape, resell, or build a competing product from the Service without written permission.
5. Your Content
You keep ownership of the audio, lyrics, beats, verses, videos, images and other material you upload or create ("Content"). You give InfectedNation a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, play, display and share that Content as needed to run the Service, including showing it to other members according to your privacy settings, in share cards that use a share ID (#@[ID]), in rankings, battles, tournaments and the Infected feature. You confirm you own or have the rights to everything you submit.
6. Collabs and Shared Work
Lyrics, notes and audio you add to a collab are visible to every member of that collab, and audio files added to a collab can be opened by anyone who has the link. Each member owns their own part. The collab owner can remove people, remove parts and files, finish or delete the collab. Agree on credit and splits with your collaborators before you release anything.
7. AI Tools
AI tools produce suggestions and generated material and may be wrong, similar to other works, or unsuitable. AI tools come in versions: v1.0.0 for free use and v2.0.0 for eligible tiers or Slime Tokens. You are responsible for checking AI results before you publish them and for labelling AI-made beats, vocals or lyrics when you upload them. AI-made beats cannot be sold in the Beats Store.
8. Acceptable Use
Do not upload, share or create Content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, exploitative of minors, malicious, or that infringes anyone's rights. Do not spam, scrape, overload, bot, farm plays, likes, reviews or tokens, or try to break the Service or other members' accounts.
9. Moderation, Strikes and Appeals
Uploads, comments, messages and ads may be screened by automated tools and by staff. Sending 50 or more comments or messages in one minute triggers a 1-day lock, the second violation a 1-week ban, the third a 1-month ban, and the fourth permanent account deletion. Strikes and bans can be appealed only through the official Discord. We may remove content or restrict accounts at any time to protect the community.
10. Reviews and Rankings
You may leave one review per person per song. To review again you must delete your earlier review. Reviews, plays, likes, comments, battle results and respect points affect rankings. Manipulating rankings is a violation of these Terms and may reset your standing.
11. Battles and Tournaments
Rap battles, crew battles and tournaments are judged by members or Premium Judges. By entering you accept the result, the judging type you chose and that your entry, lyrics and audio are shown to judges and viewers. Prizes are paid in Slime Tokens unless stated otherwise and may be withheld for cheating.
12. Slime Tokens, Stores and Payments
Slime Tokens are an in-app currency with no cash value, cannot be traded outside the Service and are not refundable. Store items, memberships (Spore, Carrier, Outbreak, Black Plague), Lyric Writer Premium, ad removal, Infected tiers and ads are paid features billed in advance and non-refundable except where the law says otherwise. Beat and verse sales go through our payment processor; sellers are paid after the processor and any holding period clear, and sales you make are your responsibility for taxes, rights and delivery.
13. Ads
Ads and sponsored placements may appear in the Service. Member-made ads must be approved by staff first, may be declined, and may be removed at any time. Do not run misleading, illegal or infringing ads.
14. Notifications and Communications
If you turn on device notifications, we show alerts for activity such as messages, friend requests, battles and achievements in the browser or app you chose. You can turn them off in Settings at any time. We may also send you account and security messages that cannot be turned off.
15. Security and Two-Factor Login
You can turn on two-factor login with an authenticator app. Once on, you must enter a current code every time you sign in on a new session, and losing your authenticator may prevent access to your account. Phone-based codes are not available yet.
16. Copyright and DMCA
We respect intellectual property and follow the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. See our Copyright page for how to file a notice or counter-notice. Repeat infringers are terminated.
17. Privacy
We collect the information you give us (identity details, profile, uploads, messages) and technical data such as device, browser and usage events so we can run, secure and improve the Service. Your identity details stay private and are used for verification and recovery. We do not sell your personal information. Settings control who can see your profile, songs, friends, playlists, inventory and personal info.
18. Mobile Apps
If you use the Service through an app store, the store's own terms also apply. Some purchases may be available only on the web where store rules do not allow them inside the app.
19. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties. We do not promise that audio processing, auto-tune, mixing, mastering, AI results, rankings or uptime will be error-free or fit a particular purpose. You are responsible for backing up your projects and Content.
20. Limitation of Liability and Indemnity
To the fullest extent the law allows, InfectedNation and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost data, revenue or profits. You agree to defend and hold InfectedNation harmless from claims arising from your Content or your breach of these Terms.
21. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, create risk, or the law requires it. After termination your right to use the Service ends, and stored Content may be removed.
22. Changes to These Terms
We update these Terms as the Service grows. When the Terms of Service, User Agreement or Copyright page changes, every member must accept the updated version the next time they sign in before they can keep using the Service.
23. Governing Law and Contact
